IMPORTANT INFORMATION   Chapter Meeting The first Provisional Meeting will take  place on Monday, October 27th, 2008, at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Abby Binkley.  All members are invited to join  the meeting. Please RSVP to Andrea Goble at andreagoble@aol.com.   First Provisional Meeting Don't forget to attend the November Chapter Meeting at the downtown Library @ 6:30 The New Junior Auxiliary Cookbook The cookbooks will be available soon: they are $24.95 per book. Previous two cookbooks are still available for sale for $10-$15 Clarksville Academy Fall Festival The Chapter will be selling cookbooks at the Clarksville Academy Fall Festival on Oct. 25 from 10:00-2:00. 2008 Holiday Market The Chapter will be selling cookbooks at the 2008 Holiday Market on Nov. 1 from 9:00-2:00. Annual Gingerbread Party The Annual Gingerbread Party will be held on December 13th at 10:00 AM at the Madison Street United Methodist Church. If you know a business that would be willing to place a gingerbread tree in their workplace please let Shelli Childers know that information at the November meeting.

WELCOME TO THE JAC WEBSITE   A BIG Thank you The Junior Auxiliary of Clarksville would like to say a BIG Thank You to Carla and Cliff Lavergne with Clarksville Family Magazine for their support of our Chapter and active projects.    Coat Drive for Kids The Chapter will be collecting coats (new or gently used) for children ages 0 to 18 years. Coats can be donated at Chapter meetings any time between November and January or at the drop-off locations listed below. The coats will be given to the Montgomery County Department of Children's Services for distribution at their discretion. The greatest need is 12 to 18 years of age. 1 Coat donated equals 2 service hours. Sell those tickets ladies! October 25th. 1.      Sign up to bring soft drinks. 2.      Sign up to take and sell tickets at the door. 3.      Sign up to make and bring an appetizer. 4.      Sign up to help with clean-up. Every ticket you sell moves JA closer to being able to provide more to our community and its children.   Focus Family Needs Please bring any of the items listed below to our next chapter meeting. Clothes - 4 months - 9 months (anything in between, winter please, sleepers needed badly) Formula - Progestimil Diapers - Size 3 Pampers, a few packs of size 4 Wipes - ULTRASENSITIVE Age appropriate books Shoes - 1 They can also always use gas cards, and certificates for pharmacy stores like Walgreens, etc. Looking forward... We are planning for our Focus Family’s shower to be in November, so get excited!!
